This figure is a registered design of Girotti Sculptured Art and bears the nomenclature of Universal Statuary Co, (1967), Chicago, Illinois. Lot - 6

Ornate Gaspar Vieira Chinoiserie style clock made in Portugal. Probably hand painted enamel over black lacquer in a wooden case. VIEW MORE IMAGES to see close detail of the motif and German movement. The adornments and colors are spectacular and meticulous hands must have provided the labor to apply appliques and paint the art. Clock chimes when hands are moved, and keys are present. In the Chinoiserie style, these are FOUR beautiful royal ladies black lacquer nesting tables. There are custom made glass accessory tops for three of the tables. Some of the glass have chips on their shoulders, but they do provide protection for the gorgeous appliques that have been meticulously placed on these hand painted and well-crafted pieces of furniture art. Hand painted ivory color with gold gild. As with any fine China, and because of the gold, they are not microwave safe. THIRTY PIECES. Vintage mid-century modern Bozak speakers built back in the 50's from Bozak factory kits. The coaxial speakers are 12 inch B-199A (8 Ohms) with B200X tweeters. The speaker cones were hand pressed from a long lasting paper/lambs wool composite. They were designed for use in sealed cabinets with 5 cubic feet of interior space. Made to produce a relaxed, warm and natural sound. We popped the cover off to snap some pictures, and wow! These speakers looked trapped in time. Check 'em out - can't even see a speck of dust. This is probably a very rare antique Capodimonte double open salt cellar or dipping bowl. Some may describe this fine piece as a mustard or relish pot. Charming and decorated in relief with hand painted frolicking cherubs displaying gorgeous and rich shade of greens, browns, reds, and flesh color. The bowls rest on attached silver floral garland feet. An ornately designed three-dimensional cherub playing a mandolin is centered between the bowls. This vintage Will Rogers and Wiley Post table lamp sculpture is perfect for your aviation decor or collection. Complete with glass shade this commemorative table lamp is constructed of cast-metal with figural images of Will Rogers, Wiley Post and their ill-fated WP X120 aircraft on a terrestrial-globe base. Both men were killed in Barrow Alaska when they were attempting to fly through Alaska in search of new material for Roger's newspaper column. This Will Rogers and Wiley Post lamp was manufactured as a memorial for two famous men that were loved throughout America. The disastrous flight happened near Point Barrow, Alaska, and claimed both lives. Will Rogers, (1879-1935) descended on the landscape as a man of wit and wisdom that proclaimed the need to laugh, which was sorely needed with the Great Depression raging. Wiley Post (1898-1935) was the first aviator to complete a successful solo flight around the world. Approx. 18"H x 6" base Diameter. Roger Gersh

Allessandro Sani (Italian, 19th century): "The Tasting". Signature is top right. Appears to be oil in ornate frame. Evidence of a quality repair is noted upon close inspection. Still period and quite valuable, this is probably one of the several copies in circulation. We know of other copies in which the signature was top left. Regardless, a beautiful piece previously owned by a local athlete known for his fierce competitive nature, but genuine hospitality as a host.
